Since 1976, I have cut, carved or customized four thousand tons of stone in architectural and landscape settings. Along the way, designed custom tools, employed wrought iron, cast glass, unusual wood shapes selected in person from the forest, falling water, woven reeds, handmade tile, intense fire, and every other source of folly to cause an artful idea to materialize before us.
